So, feel free to join me in the Scripture Writing Challenge! It helped me to get a new journal (it gave me something to look forward to) and I got myself a new Bible. I'll write extra especially on those days that were more trying than others. Years ago, Back in the day, before smart phones and social media I believe that Christians spent more time in the Word. The goodness of our God is foundational to any other topic out there. But I think it is important to really mediate on God’s goodness before we can dive into any other topic. Some of you may think you know how good God is, and you are right. I can face the world, my kids, my students, and my hubby without having a million things in the back of my mind whispering how things can go wrong.ĥ-10 minutes with God has help set me free from anxiety. Scripture Writing Challenge I know that the spiritual climate today is much different than it was many years ago and I attribute that to immature Christians who have a lack of knowledge when it comes to the Word of God. During the month of September, we will be reading and writing about God’s GOODNESS. It's not a lot, but it's helped me so much. I look forward to getting my 5-10 minutes uninterrupted God time. I can't just open God's Word on a whim and see what happens. This Scripture writing challenge takes you through the final days of Jesus’ life while parallel reading each event in the 4 gospels plus adding in prophetic readings from the Old Testament. Now you can tell me to look to God, and I do, but I need something that's routine and organized. Keep the following questions in mind as you write the scripture down: 1.
Have you seen the news lately? Do you see what's happening all over the world? Doesn't it frighten you just a bit? Please tell me it's not just me. I also have a hubby who likes talking to me when we find the time. I'm a mom of 4 (yes, I had a baby since the last time I blogged), and an elementary school teacher.
So why am I telling you about all these ladies and their plans? Because I needed them, and I'm guessing you might as well. God speaks to us through His Word, so take some time each day this month to write down the following Scripture.
